I WISH THIS PLACE WAS EVERYWHERE! I will drive out of my way to just go here for dinner and I'm from Minnesota. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. The cinnamon butter is probably one of the best things I've ever had. Put the cinnamon butter on top of the warm fresh buns and you will melt eating them. SUCH INCREDIBLE FOOD. I love the country music that is playing (this is personal preference.) If you like country music you will enjoy the atmosphere. PLEASE GO HERE AND PATRONIZE this place. The food is super delicious.

We eat here frequently and over the years have never had a bad time. Service is always fun and friendly. Managers rock and interact with he guests and are genuinely interested in you the guest and your experience. One of the better places in Eau Claire to enjoy a great meal and a cold deink

Stopped on the way to the mall late on a Friday night. It was our first time and we were a group of 6. We all ordered different item and not one of us was disappointed in our choices. Our server, Justin, was attentive, quick and genuinely nice. Best server ever. We live too far away to go back or they would see us weekly. It's loud and fun so take a bunch of people and have a good time. Order the fish and chips or country fried chicken. All the sides are good. The fried pickles are supposed to be very good. Best meal out in years!

My first time...Memorial day after driving, being on the road since 7am we wanted real food. Mom and I both had the filet medallions. She has allergies and was accomodated perfectly with substitutions. I had the rice and portobello sauce and was impressed. I don't like country music and listen to anything but. It was worth tolerating country music for the steak. More southern rock would be nice. Not fond of having different staff drop off food or refills and would prefer just one to deal with and tip.

Good food but not the atmosphere I want to eat a steak in. I felt like I was eating in the middle of a circus. Loud and noisy. Line dancing and singing next to my table and kids running all over. I would recommend Houligans if your looking to go out out for steak.

Good "steak & potatoes" place. The Dallas Filet is my favorite steak, but have found that they are sometimes inconsistently cooked. I went with friends last weekend and 3 of us ordered steaks. I ordered mine medium, it came more medium/ rare (which I was fine with, still good), One friend who order hers medium/rare got more of a medium. My other friend who ordered medium got hers more 'medium well'. Their burgers are good too, juicy and flavorful on a big, lightly grilled sesame seed bun. Nom, nom, nom. My only complaint is that it can be noisy (don't tell them it's your birthday unless you want them to scream it out to the entire restaurant) and it's usually PACKED on the weekends, so if you don't call ahead, plan on waiting like a hour for a seat.

HOLY HANNAH! I can see why there is always a wait to get in! The server recommend the ribs witch i said no thanks to until i seen the prices $12.50 for a half rack and you choose from two sides. Probably one of the best decisions i made all year. When they say, fall off the bone they literately mean finger food witch is great because i have a beard and i tend to get it everywhere when i eat rib like foods! When i was asked if i wanted more BBQ sauce i declined due to the fact it was extremely tender and had fantastic flavor. I usually stay away from the 5/5 rating cause 5/5 should mean "Best of the Best" but this visit was absolutely incredible and i can't wait to go back!! Oh and my other half had chicken and pulled pork witch was great too! Also there is about 12 different sides to choose from!!! TRY THE RIBS!!

We went as a group of 7 (and 2 halves..lol) . I love the call ahead seating option. The service was great. You will NOT walk away from this place hungry. We started with apps (blooming onion and fried pickles) both were fantastic. All of the meals and sides were good/for chain. The other plus - ICE ICE cold beer! We had a good time..reasonable prices.

We WERE regulars for the longest time until recently. One visit we had the rudest waitress of which when it came time to order I asked for the prime rib and she replied " out of it" . She then walked off without taking my order. Our food orders including the appetizer all came out at once. My wife requested more bread and the waitress passed a basket over the rail with a sour look on her face. We had a pretty good view into the kitchen and noticed her chatting it up all smiles after being so rude. On our way out my wife explained the rude treatment to the manager and she basically defended the waitress. Our next visit was the same they ran out of prime rib at 6:30 PM on a Thursday night. I will not return. Its a loud annoying place to eat.

It's steak and beer with peanuts all over for you to grab. In that, they are competent, no more, no less. I've sat at the bar (traveling alone on business) both times I've been there, and the bartenders have always been personable and eager to help. (Note to management -- If you'd like more of the business traveler crowd, why not pony up for WiFi so I don't have to try for lousy cell service in order to read my iPad at the table!) The tables seem to be served by a more junior crowd of servers, so I'm less sure how that would work (and I have to say that hearing their $&#& fake-we-don't-want-to-pay-ASCAP-to-license-the-actual-Happy-Birthday-tune at least 4 times during one dinner was incredibly annoying!!!). Calorie Counters: Be careful of their dinner rolls -- They are dangerously sweet and fatty. You can get a good simple sirloin with a baked sweet potato here, and keep it at a reasonable calorie level if you skip the brown sugar and too much butter, without looking too weird.

It's your basic steakhouse franchise. Nothing special. I've been twice and honestly, for a place that specializes in steak, y'all need to step it up. And to all the people that rave that it's the best steak in town, spend a few more dollars and go someplace that isn't going to line dance and sing ridiculous cheesy birthday songs... Venture to Duncan Creek Wine Bar in Chippewa or even Manny's by the mall, although that's the only thing I would recommend there.

Basic Texas Roadhouse which I don't care for. Came with friends because they like the place. Just OK to me. Nothing special - chain food with chain taste with good service. Others like the cinnamon butter? It's fine - make it at home - butter, sugar, cinnamon to taste - my goodness nothing to rave over. Meh.

Texas Roadhouse is packed on the weekends so make sure to call ahead. The food here is fantastic, the portions are huge, and the prices are reasonable. It is a very loud atmosphere with a large country influence but both of those are worth tolerating for the food.

Best steak restaurant in town Generally packed on Friday and Saturday nights so call ahead for seating Never had a bad meal here. Prime rib is excellent, steaks are always good, country fried chicken is great. Cactus Blossoms will never let you down

Great food. Staff are all high schoolers...prolly why I don't go there often. They will break out into a dance while you are trying to eat..I'm not into that. Overall, good food but a 'stressful' atmosphere. Oh and there are peanut shells all over the floor...Why can't they just give us a reusable basket...?

Terrible steaks, service, and atmosphere! Two prime ribs, both too tough to consume. Asst manager asked how our meal was, told him and we were more or less chastised for complaining, he actually showed his irritation with us so we called for the manager. This fellow also had an attitude problem but told us we didn't have to pay for the prime rib. He then proceeded to subtract $10 from our $40 bill. I laughed and insisted on paying the entire &40. If two 12 oz prime ribs are worth only $10, I can easily figure out why they were tougher than shoe leather. Terrible place! Take your business anywhere else!

I've stopped in here a few times to meet in laws for lunch, it's a pretty decent place. I actually find outback a little nicer, but that's me. It was my Sister in laws birthday and they made her sit on a saddle while the restaurant cheered, that was almost worth the trip. Free peanuts while you wait for food is decent. I ordered the Country Fried Chicken, it wasn't exactly what I expected, but when I thought about it more, it did make sense. I was thinking it would be a piece of fried chicken, but it was flattened chicken breast cooked country fried steak style..the lights went ont when they sat it down...I wish I had ordered the oven roasted chicken. Oh well. Their steaks look pretty good and I had a bite of prime rib that was tasty.

Food is awesome, but you can always expect to wait just to enter the building. They could build another one in Eau Claire and not worry about it failing.

Roadhouse is one of the best steak places in town. They have excellent service, a vibrant atmosphere and they give a high value for any steak on the menu, and you can fill up on the unlimited rolls with cinnamon butter. No wonder Outback across the street went out of business within a year of Roadhouse opening.
